Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Kahsyrah Bryant exemplifies the meaning of being unapologetically herself. Kahsyrah is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with just under 10 years of experience in the field. Kahsyrah holds a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University-Brooklyn and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz. Kahsyrah has significant experience working in child welfare under evidence-based models including Multi-Systemic Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, EMDR and Play Therapy. Kahsyrah reports that she learned to own her skills while working in a juvenile detention center as a therapist. Kahsyrah specializes in working with adults, teens and children with general mental health concerns, anxiety or depression. Kahsyrah is currently obtaining her hours to become a Registered Play Therapist.
